Effectiveness of Using Movie In Descriptive Style Speaking

The objective of the research is to prove whether using movies differentiates students' achievement in descriptive style speaking between students who are taught and non-movies. subject this was seventh grade classes VII B C. number forty-four. design used as experimental research. After doing treatments, researcher gave a post-test both with same instrument. data had been collected by test, it found that pre-test average class 62.27, control 61.82. While 72.73 66.14. obtained t-test 2.454, whereas t-table 1.68 for = 5%. score higher than (2.454 > 1.67). It meant Ha accepted while Ho rejected. T-test t-table, hence movie effective improving students’ ability SMP Negeri 1 Singojuruh academic year 2020/2021.
